Nearly done ……. all I’m thinking about is turning around and doing it in reverse. Can’t quite believe we are nearly done, reflecting on what we have done, the places we have seen and the roads we have travelled. Including the Nationals and starting the Tour in Nelson, this would rate as one of the best things I have done in the Volkswagen hobby. We are camped in Hokitika for the night and have seen a couple of Tourists leave to meet travel deadlines home, and a few others join us for the night.

Sure am going to miss everyone and our dailey adventures! Was great to meet you Peter, your a top dude – even if u do post hideous photos on the blog! Hope the farewell dinner was cool and you all had lots of laughs and maybe a few Radlers (in honour of me and Evey of course!). Safe travels home and i’ll catch ya some other time.

The dinner was good, lot’s of silliness, emotion and drinking and eating, you and evey would have fitted in just right, famous for your Summer Ales and Radlers, and should we add rum to the list until 5.00am
